Giving Back – Supporting Harmony House
Are you aware, that in purchasing from Gooseberry Fool, you are helping to support and empower others? Not just the women who I am working with, but the wonderful charity, Harmony House – ‘Where Hope Resides’.

Harmony House is committed to furthering children’s educational and vocational skills, whilst improving their well-being. It is a charitable organisation for street children in India, who support and educate over 550 children at a time, whilst providing vocational services and training programmes for women and young adults. Their aim is to give each child the childhood they deserve and a chance to learn, grow, and most importantly, empower them. They help to generate self-reliant, confident and resourceful individuals who are able to step into the community and contribute to those around them.

Harmony House’s key objectives are to provide a safe, fun, educational and a loving environment for children and women living in the nearby slums. With many of its children attending school only for a few hours in the morning or not at all, Harmony House allows the children to break away from the harsh climate of their usual surroundings and spend their free time in enjoyable, stimulating and nurturing surroundings.

The work that they are doing to fight poverty is incredible, they rely 100% on donations, sponsorship and contributions to support families in need. With this help, they can continue to effect positive change for those who would otherwise remain impoverished. So thank you for every purchase you make from me, as this in turn helps Harmony House to provide a better and brighter future filled with hope for those who access support. Every product you buy donates five days of snacks (fruit, milk, biscuits, sandwiches) for one child who attends Harmony House.
